The third of the Fenland Histories, this book continues where ‘Webbed Feet and Wildfowlers’ ends, at the beginning of the Tudor age, and takes us to where ‘A Georgian House on the Brink’ begins, the early eighteenth century. It never ceases to amaze me how much history this small town and its neighbouring Fenland managed to pack in!
